These terms apply to iceattheoaks.com and to the tickets, parties, classes and programs offered by Ice at The Oaks ("we", "us"), the outdoor ice rink at 147 W Thousand Oaks Blvd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91360. By using the site or booking with us, you agree to them.

Using this website

Schedules, prices, programs and packages can change. The Session Finder, your confirmation email and your ticket show the current details.
Some images on the site are concept renderings of the rink and may differ from the finished venue.
Please use the site lawfully. Don't send false information through our forms, try to break into the site, or copy it in bulk.

Tickets

Tickets are sold through our ticketing partner, and the terms shown at checkout apply to your purchase.
Tickets are non-refundable. You can exchange for another session up to 24 hours before your start time, based on availability.
If weather or ice conditions close a session, affected tickets are exchanged automatically.

Parties, private ice and groups

Sending a request doesn't book your date. Your booking is confirmed once we confirm it in writing and receive your deposit.
A 50% deposit reserves your date. Deposits are fully refundable up to 14 days before your event. After that, we'll move your deposit to another date this season.
The balance is due on the day of your event. Package contents, add-ons and guest counts are as confirmed in your booking.

Learn to Skate

Registering saves a spot request. Your place is confirmed when we email you and payment is arranged. Classes run in the age group and time slot we confirm.

Skating safely

Ice skating has risks, including falls, collisions and cuts from skate blades. By skating, you accept those risks.
Every skater signs our digital waiver before skating. A parent or guardian signs for anyone under 18.
Skaters 12 and under need an adult on site, and kids under 7 need a grown-up on the ice with them.
Follow the rink rules and our skate guards' instructions. We may ask anyone who puts others at risk to leave the ice.
We're not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.

Ambassadors and sponsors

The Ambassador Program and sponsorships are governed by their own program terms and written agreements. Applying or sending an inquiry doesn't create a partnership until we confirm it.

Photos and video

The rink is a public space. We may take photos and video at the rink, including our live rink camera, and use them to promote Ice at The Oaks. If you'd rather not appear in a photo, just let a staff member know.

Our content

The Ice at The Oaks name, logo, photos, renderings and text on this site belong to us or our partners. Please don't use them without our written permission. Links to other websites are for your convenience, and we're not responsible for their content.

Disclaimer and limits on liability

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and our total liability for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under California law that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Ventura County, California.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. The version posted when you book applies to that booking.
